STUDENT MINDS

Student Minds is a UK-based nonprofit organization that specializes in mental health in higher education. Student Minds is IEU Counselng’s partner for three of its programs: Peer Support, Look After Your Mate, and Mental Health in Sports (coming soon).

In addition to these joint efforts between our University and Student Minds, the organization offers a wide range of free online resources for university students that talk about university life and mental health issues:

Center for Health, Well-Being & Happiness

From the classroom to the workplace, modern life poses many difficult challenges. It is our belief that higher education must provide important life skills for individuals not only to survive, but to thrive amidst these challenges.

SEN OFFICE

IE University offers special accommodations for students with special educational needs (SEN) who have been formally diagnosed by a healthcare professional in Spain or their home countries. SEN comprise learning disorders, cognitive and emotional difficulties, and sensory and physical disabilities that hinder a student’s learning and academic performance. The type and range of available accommodations at IE University may vary from those that students received in their high school or previous academic institution.

To request special accommodations, IE University students fill out a confidential online form by indicating their medical conditions and uploading the relevant documents. If the originals are not in English or Spanish, they need to be officially translated into these languages by a certified or sworn translator prior to their submission.

For more information, please write to FunctionalDiversity@ie.edu.
